Dodge the Bullet - cowboy romance

When Amazon’s best seller list declared that this book was free (kindle version), I couldn’t resist. I am a sucker for free books, especially the romantic type.

This is the story of a beautiful widow who moves to the west - ranching land, to recover from her loss of her husband. In small town America she meets a handsome cowboy (with his physique straight out of a catalogue) with a dark past. 

Cowboy and widow are strongly attracted to each other, sparks fly, a few rolls in the hay, etc. etc. She “heals” him of the baggage of his past, he helps her set up and actually make money off her ranch.. 

Oh did I mention the fat, revolting, greedy villain who is trying to threaten and arm-twist our poor heroine into selling her property? It’s of course up to super-cowboy to save our heroine, the ranch, his reputation, blah blah blah.

Predictable as they get, the script is nothing to talk about. What is nice is that the characters are well outlined, the story pacey and leaves you feeling fuzzy about the characters.

Read and move on. Not a book you should be paying for, so if it’s still free adn you like soppy romance novels, do read it.
